When he was told "Not To"

Why did Laurel slap Hardy
three times in a shot
When he was told by the
Director,"Not To" slap Hardy
three times but only two times?

Why did the children
play with plastic bags
covering their faces
When they were told "Not To"

Why did people
fiddle with man-hole
covers during the rains
When they were told "Not To"
fiddle with man-hole covers
during the rains?

Why do you
stand & stare aimlessly
at the raw nakedness
When you are told "Not To"
